An ulcer is a deep sore or break in the skin. Diabetics may develop ulcers from minor scrapes on the feet or legs, from cuts that heal slowly, or from the rubbing of shoes that don’t fit well. Ulcers can become infected and should be treated promptly.

We have experienced wound care nurse that can assess and treat Most ulcers. Silvers and alginates are on hand to control infection. Please Follow up with your GP if you experience redness and swelling to the affected area and or fevers. Oral Antibiotics may be needed.
